Acceptance of our terms

I / we agree, that for the purposes of the Water Industry Act 2003 and the Data Protection Act 1998, the information provided in this form and in any accompanying documents, may be held on a computer and processed by Thames Water Ltd and its servants and agents for all purposes connected with the Company’s statutory water and sewerage undertakings.

Any applications cancelled by the applicant will result in an £87 charge to cover abortive costs however, once consent has been granted no refund will be given.

I/we confirm that the lateral drain will be constructed to adoptable standards and upon completion of works, Thames Water will issue a declaration of vesting. I/we confirm that this application is complete and the information supplied is in accordance with Sewers for Adoption 6th Edition Addendum.

By submitting this application, you are not automatically granted permission to connect and you must not start work until you have received our Notice of Consent.

Failure to include all the required information may result in the application being delayed. In some cases Thames Water may have to ask for the submitted design/layout to be amended due to flooding or attenuation.

Refund Policy

Refused application

If your application is refused, we will charge our administration costs and refund the balance.

Cancelled application

If you cancel your application, we reserve the right to charge all costs reasonably incurred to cover administrative and investigative work carried out prior to the cancellation. Each case is reviewed separately, as some cases are more technically involved than others

Notification of cancellation

If you wish to cancel your application, you must notify us in writing by sending an e-mail to developer.services@thameswater.co.uk.

Refund period

You should receive your refund within 28 days of us confirming the balance due.
